Beautifully handmade by Indian artisans & finished off with the age old "kantha" stitch, this bedspread has the print on 1 side & is plain on the other side.

"Kantha work" is a family skill (an embroidery) passed on from mother to daughter, originating from India, wherein old cloth pieces are stitched together using the running stitch to make light weight quilts or throws.
